MICRONIZING INTO THE 3RD GENERATION

ABOUT US

The Micronizer was invented by my Grandfather, David Newton. He was the founder of Micronizing Company (UK) Ltd and produced the first Micronizer in 1972 which is still running to this day in his sister company Charnwood Milling. Unfortunately Grandpa passed away in 1995 due to Cancer and left the running of the company to his son Ricky – my Uncle. Ricky continued to run Micronizing successfully for many years before retiring in 2022 and closing Micronizing Company (UK) Ltd.

For over 50 years Micronizing has delivered high quality, reliable equipment that has transformed the animal feed, food, cocoa, and brewing industries and has improved the health and nutrition of products all over the world. Micronizers are used by some of the best known names in the food and feed industries.

I am proud to be able to take over the Micronizing technology, designs and knowledge that has been learnt over the last 50 years and to take the business of Micronizing into a 3rd generation of the family. I will continue to provide spare parts, support and new equipment to customers old and new and I very much look forward to creating new relationships and bring a new perspective to the technology.

Micronizing has been built on Research & Development and we continue our commitment to R&D into the future. Despite being a technology that has existed for 50 years we still find new opportunities to develop, improve, and use for alternative processes and products.
